Clarus Cottage is located in the heart of Maitland.  There is a council car park directly opposite with an ample 3-hour limit. There is no entry from the front door, the actual entry is via the left hand side of the cottage. Please note that entry is by prior appointment only.

Directions

From the New England Highway turn into the Maitland exit and go over the railway line and Maitland railway station.  This drops you into another roundabout where you take the second exit (straight ahead) into Church Street, which is a one-way street.  After the traffic lights at Church Street, about 100 metres further down, look for the council car park to your right where you will park.
 
Moore Street runs perpendicular between Church and Elgin Streets.  At the Church Street end, there is the Maitland Fire Station and, at the Elgin Street end, there is the ANZ Bank.  Clarus Cottage is located just slightly closer to the Church Street end.
