TMA Certified Member
CHROMIS is a full member of the Travel Medicine Alliance. We are also an accredited Yellow Fever vaccination centre. We have the services of a senior, travel medicine specialist, Dr Christine Aus, who couples comprehensive medical knowledge with extensive, hands-on travel experience. This means you get the best, up-to-date travel medical advice as well as practical tips, like how to put up a mosquito net!
Better late than never!
Ideally you should see a specialist in travel medicine at least 8 weeks before you depart. For extended trips or overseas postings you may need a course of vaccinations over a six month period.
If you need vaccines it’s best to get them out of the way well before you travel so that reactions don’t occur when you’re on the plane or during your trip. However, the traveller who is about to depart can still benefit from a travel consultation. So, if you’ve booked an overseas trip you should book a travel consultation with us.
